How to Make The Perfect Steak?

Let's talk STEAKS.

In order to make the perfect steak, you need to have two main things, the first of course is a great quality steak! and the second is a great cast iron skillet

So, let's begin. I will show you how to make the best steak two ways.

#1 Don't Touch The Steak!

In this method, you would need a great cast iron skillet, vegetable or olive oil, butter, garlic, salt, pepper, rosemary and/or thyme.

Now, put some salt and pepper on your room temperature steak, then put the oil in the cast iron skillet, and only when it's screaming hot (it'll be smoky), in you go with the steak, leave it for 1.5 minutes and then flip and cook another 1.5 minutes. Next, butter, garlic & herbs, all in the skillet. Put the herbs and garlic on top of the steak and with a spoon pour some butter on top for another 0.5 a-minute. Do the same thing thing for the other side.

take off heat. let rest for 5-10 minutes.

 #2 You Better Flip It

In this method, you would flip the steak every 30 seconds in order to cook the steak evenly from both sides. But first, you need the skillet to be super hot, with oil inside, and you also need the herbs, butter and garlic on handy. So, let's begin.

Start with heating the cast iron skillet with the oil inside,  add salt and pepper to the steak. When the skillet is ready, put the steak in and flip every 30 seconds. when each side gets 1.5 minutes, put the herbs, garlic and butter in the skillet and cook for another 30 seconds each side.

Next, turn heat off, and let rest for 5-10 minutes.

Dressing? YES!

Chop some parsley, dill, basil, rosemary, garlic, red chili pepper and mix with olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon juice and zest (optional).

Put on top of your steak and enjoy!
